New York Fashion Week has commenced with the SS19 womenswear collections. With expected inspirations from Badgley Mischka that’ll showcase 30 years of their work, a retro future at Phillip Lim, the global woman at Dennis Basso and Michael Kors’s interpretation of the ‘Global Utopia’ woman. We also can’t wait to see Sally LaPointe’s runway inspirations for her sci-fi western interpretations and Jill Stuart’s interpretation for “Lacquered.” Some other designer inspirations to come include; “Hot nights in the urban jungle” at Veronica Beard and Zimmermann’s designs inspired by a television soap that was on in Australia in the late Seventies called Number 96.
