Ortiz Industry, a Los Angeles-based contemporary men’s and women’s fashion brand and Mototainment, operator of Ducati Triumph New York presented ‘Empowered’ an evening of fashion, music and art for New York Fashion Week. Integrating multiple art forms, the event was presented with art by Stephen Holding and fashion by Ortiz Industry, including a showcase of the apparel’s dynamic power and precision bodywork with music by DJ Stretch Armstrong. The art exhibit displayed pieces created exclusively for the event by Holding, longtime friend of Ortiz Industry and cutting-edge art innovator. Also on display were two custom painted motorcycle helmets, five custom Ortiz Industry jackets, as well as numerous large-format originals.
“As a designer, I am continuously blown away by the incredible history, the passion for craftsmanship, and the powerful innovation of the Ducati brand,” said Ortiz Industry co-founder, Claire Ortiz. “Collaborating with Mototainment, being aligned with a group of people who set themselves apart as innovative thinkers, and who share our vision for impeccable design and dynamic performance, with painstaking attention to detail, is a really exciting endeavor.”
This event is just one in a larger partnership between Ortiz Industry and Mototainment, which will now be selling the Ortiz Industry line in its Ducati Triumph New York showroom. This organic partnership was born out of both companies’ outside-the-box vision, and effort to bring consumers an entire experience in one showroom. “Mototainment is excited to partner with Ortiz Industry to offer our clients a new line of clothing, which offers the same freedom of movement for their bodies that motorcycling provides for their souls,” said Steve Radt, Mototainment’s owner and general manager. Cocktails were provided by Tanteo Tequila and food by Chef Roble.
