Ann Yee’s SS15 collection is inspired by NYC’s erratic and unstable weather pattern. It is that time of year; winter and early spring when our weather is very sudden. Ann say’s that she is mesmerized by the idea of “architectural storm.” Each design is very functional and focuses on the transitional need of its wearability.
She plays with the idea of our unpredictable forces of nature via malleable textures and clean lines. Her latest collection includes her signature knits which she pairs with contrasting woven fabrics. By doing this, she creates graphic elements as she continues to explore mixed media knitwear.
We love the playfulness of each design and the color palette of blues, pops of coral, coupled with neutrals of ivory, white, grey and black.
