Brit Wacher Fall 2014 collection consists of mostly black and white looks, though there are also some dark green and grays. The collection appear to be a classic black and white lineup but Brit’s experience with the additional color use is artful. The silhouettes of her designs are modern but yet very sophisticated in the draping and very linear. Wacher previously worked with Dutch designer Pauline van Dongen, whose garment constructions are sheer fashion science tech inspirations. One of my favorite look from this collection is, a black long buttoned-down skirt with double buttons on the front waistband. Brit’s use of print with the black fabrics she uses in her designs, are masterfully constructed and has an aura of timelessness.
