BlogHer ’13 in Chicago is here with the invasion of women bloggers from all across the US coming together to learn, network and have some fun. I decided to head over to Chicago with Mike Street (@mrmikestreet) to check out the fashion scene after being convinced via Twitter by the amazing Diane Lang aka MOMO (@momofali) over a weekly Style Chat (#StyleChat) and by Kitty Bradshaw (@KittyBrashaw) over cocktails.
I love fashion and talking and connecting with people who love it too. The scene at the expo hall of brands and the bloggers who love them, is a plethora of fashionistas who are in attendance for the first time or those who are regular attendees. There are mother/daughter bloggers Kim and Chloe of PopCosmo(@popcosmo) who was dressed in a lace blue (think Tadashi Shoji F/W13 seen here) and her mom in a black and white graphic print shift dress. Then there’s the beautiful and All American girl blogger Caroline Yauck of Citrus and Style (@citrusandstyle) who just oozed natural beauty in a orange sorbet shift dress. The fashion scene is a mix of attendees who love current print trends, to those who love beauty(make-up and nail) trends and those who love to accessorize(bags, jewels, shoes). Beauty author, Terez Baskin (@TerezBaskin) with whom I’ve been tweeting with on Twitter for over two years was such a tweetheart in person just as she is online. She was a fashion delight with those fluttering eyelashes as she striked a pose for my camera. If you are a beauty blogger or is interested in becoming one, you’ll definitely want to pick up her new book ‘11 Beautiful Tools‘ available here. I also loved the ensemble seen on Eva Wilson of Soca Mom fame (@SocaMomDC). Author Ananda Leeke (@AnandaLeeke) who was also a professional speaker at BlogHer ’13 and founder of Digital Sisterhood (@DigitalSisterHd), looked lovely in a beautiful mod dress and I was so thrilled to snap a photo of her. Click, click, click!

Of course, gorgeous hair was sure to be seen on some of the attendees and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the beautiful Tabatha Muntzinger(@tabulous) who is just stylish and should come to NYC for the fashion scene.
I was so excited to meet celebrity hair stylist Mark Hill (@MarkHillHair) whose Luxe Salon in the Presidential Suite at the Sheraton is every girls’ dream. Women who love hair will want to meet and know about Mark whose full line of hair products arrives in the US this month at Walgreens, Duane Reade and Boots. Hill has a rock star loyal following in the UK, having won the prestigious ‘British Hairdresser of the Year’ and the ‘International Hairdresser of the Year’ twice. Mark Hill and his team of hairdressers are fantastic and inspirational, as they work together to bring their vision of .healthy hair along with the latest trends and styles.
