There’s so much to love about the Victoria Gress S/S 2013 collection and for me it’s the draping. The way the fabrics seem so organically incorporated for each look, on the models, without being too fitted, create silhouettes that seem so luxe-comfort. The necklines on some of the tops are very diverse for fashionistas, who may love being buttoned up or airy on the décolletage. Perhaps what’s best about each look though, are the finishing touches such as the lace trims and the use of fabric textures that create the overall aesthetic of the collection. The color pallets are almost vintage-like to the eye, but with design touches like the dropped waist, accessorized with skinny belts and sashes, it seems more like a combination of old word meets new world.
