Pearly Wong’s F/W 2012 collection is a statement of the changing world of fashion with an option for fashionistas who are stylish and responsible. A top is versatile and can be worn front or back with a detachable scarf or a button up collar blouse can be worn on the front or the back; are some of the looks included in Wong’s sustainable inspired designs. Pearly also experiments with tie and dye techniques on some of the fabrics she used in her designs for this collection.
[It is the designer’s aim] to make clothes that are reusable and wearable on a frequent basis. It is her mission as part of being a responsible and environmental friendly designer to put continual effort to the “Elimination of negative environmental impact.” ~ Pearl Wong
I am a fashionista that loves green fashion and designers with a philosophy for giving back to mother earth. Indeed, Pearly Wong’s collection is fashion savvy and eco friendly too but it’s the one of a kind looks in this collection which are valuable as well. The fall/winter 2012 looks are androgynous, with black being the basic color and undertones of mystic grey and blue. I love the silhouettes and the gradient-like print effect on each look. By the looks of this collection, I am already excited for the spring/summer 2013 looks from Wong. Follow and connect with us on Facebook for more pics and fashion news.
